Inspired by Hels Sheridan new challenge I made a birthday card for my son, he has brown eyes!

I used Kraft cordinations to emboss TH gears folder and then sanded the blue to brown. The image was stamped in sepia and embossed with clear powder. I distress inked with salty Ocean, faded jeans, china blue, stormy sky and a hint of peacock feathers. I added gears and a jeans button, still attached to denim. The letters were stamped and glossy accented, the circles were bronze distress paint as were the fake brads. Hope you like it!

Every girl should have a puddle!

It is Arabella’s first birthday next week. She loves water, bath, puddles, pools and really enjoys splashing. I was inspired to make the card when I saw Penny’s flamingo on Paperartsy Blog, it made me laugh. I made the puddle circles from card then stamped and coloured the images before sticking them in place. I think Arabella will like the card.

Fond Memories of Paris

I have fond memories of visiting Paris with my husband on Valentines Day a few years ago. I created this small page to fit into a circle journal, it has a slit pocket and a tag book which slides inside. I will enter the challenge at A Vintage Journey this month.
I used Tim Holtz Frech Script stamp on white card in sepia. I inked Peeled Paint on to the Eiffel Tower folder and embossed the card through my Big Shot. I cut a slit and inserted a craft card pocket made from OTE Bracket die. I die cut tags, stamped, inked and used stickers for the images. I wrote my fondest memories on the back. ( I really want to teurn to Paris after making this!) the tags were joined with peeled paint stained crinkle ribbon.
I really enjoyed this challenge.
