I have finally released my Melt Pot from its wrappings! I have had it since November and the time for stroking only had come. Out it came and inspired with my new Grahic45 and Prima stamps I started.
I used gesso and then distress paint on corrugated card and chipboard for the background. I stamped with Archival on tissue paper THEN melted was in the Pot and fixed the tissue in place. Whew it worked! I polished the surface to get a sheen. NEXT time for UTEE. I made some anenomes with Tattered Flower dies and Pinecone leaf seaweed. I dipped them in hot UTEE, too cool and not enough powder in the pot! The heat gun really helped here to melt the mess. Next time it worked and I could shape the leaves and petals when they were still hot.
I assembled it on white gesso card and put pearls and shells to finish it off. Quite pleased, shrink plastic next!
Wow and double wow – I can always tell real talent. Their works always make me go WOW!
