There is something quite therapeutic about creating Christmas cards in July!! No rush or hassle, sit in the sun and have fun….. try it.

The new Christmas Papers from Scrapberry are fun, subtle colours and deigns with a great topper sheet.

I cut a black matt to fit the card, tore 3 different designs and inked the edges silver. I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges with blue and red thread. I love how the stitches randomly skip.

The cute toppers were cut out, mounted on black circles and stitched. I glued them on, the ice skates were raised on foam tape and the mdf snowflake tied on with silver elastic. I added dots and stitches with a white Posca pen.
